Automatic and Manual connection via GT1 Empty Automatic and Manual connection via GT1

We had a case where an E91 2006 with electric steering lock was broken

This caused the ignition system to not switch on (steering lock was blocked)

We changed the upper steering column and tried to recode the new part.
The steering lock would still not function, and so we could not begin to program the car

This was because the car gives the tester diagnostic vehicle info when the ignition is on, if there is no ignition the AUTOMATIC diagnostic will not begin

In this case, there is a possibility to go in MANUAL
You will need to select the manual option, and there after the vehicle, and engine type.

From here the diagnostic process is the same if it was on automatic.

This is also a good option if you have a car which wil not connect to the GT1 as normal, you can try the manual option
