E8x 4cyl 2004-2008 DSC and ABS problems

Lots of 1 series , mostly 4 cylinder models are reporting faliure of the DCS valve unit
The error is located to the pressure sensor inside the valve and therefore impossible to repair
internal pressure sensor, code 5e20 on diagnostics
CC-ID 36 is DSC de-activated. CC-ID 24 and 35 ...DSC failure
BMW say the entire unit (DSC hydro unit) must be replaced and coded.
The valve IS available alone, but it is not a ETK item ,
Secret BMW part nr is B34.51.6.797.896 646 HYDRO UNIT REPAIR KIT // 3451 6797896
This item is MUCH cheaper than the complete hydro unit with the electronics included, and the part doesnt need to be coded.
BUT, be careful when swapping the black control panel over to the new unit, as the internal parts are very fragile.
I havnt changed one yet, but read of some who have with good results
